Sorry Fish-mommy

First of all, I have nothing against people eating fish(or eating anything for that matter). I myself do not eat fish or meat or chicken, but I do not mind other people doing it. But that's not the point. today we all went for trekking. and near that place, there was a lake. when we came back , we saw many people were sitting there or rather waiting there with their fishing hook in the water. My daughter has not seen this till now, well from such close distance. So, when she went near water she saw few fishes were caught but still in the water. she went and asked one of the fishermen. he explained her that when they will go home they will take them out. They(people) like it fresh. till this point, my daughter was fine. she went more near and noticed that those fishes were trying to escape from that hook. and suddenly out of no where she started crying. I got little confused but I thought she must be feeling sad for fish. She is quite sensitive when anything happens to (any) animals. After few minutes she got back to her normal and stopped crying, I asked her. And when she answered , she got tears in my eyes. She said fish's mommy must be feeling so sad, somebody should tell their mommy. I felt sad that she is feeling sad and I started giving all explanation(how it is important to balance nature and blah blah.....). I was talking and in two minutes, I realized she already knows that all. she heard it from me, learnt it at school, must have read in a book. Yet its her age, her innocence made her forget all that theory. It was a connection to her heart. and I stopped talking, how can I? Kids are so true and so real.  They are Angels.
